Terms & conditions
If you are booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make sure every sauna user is aware and agrees with these terms and conditions.
You enter the sauna at your own risk. Sauna use can result in bodily harm and even death. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and able to participate in the sauna. If you have any health concerns or underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, pregnancy, or dizziness, please contact a GP or medical practitioner prior to booking for advice on sauna participation.
You agree not to touch the stove within the sauna. The stove, sauna rocks, and the flue become extremely hot and can cause serious burns.
If you choose to dip in any body of cold water, such as the sea, this is completely at your own risk, please ensure you are fit and comfortable if partaking in cold water immersion.
Your personal belongings are left at your own risk around the sauna. We can provide a space to put them but are not responsible for any misplacement.
Please remove metal jewellery before entering the sauna as they can become hot and possibly burn your skin.
If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we can refuse entry to the sauna without refund.
Guidelines for the sauna:
Enter the sauna clean, do not wear body oils or lotions as this can damage the sauna seating. We provide fresh water for before and after the session.
Sit on a towel in the sauna, both for comfort and hygiene. Only wear swimwear whilst in the sauna.
A session in the sauna should last between from 10 to 20 minutes. 20 minutes maximum is our advice to prevent dehydration or heat exhaustion.
Cool down in-between sauna sessions until your body feels ready to enter again. Do not push your limits, it is not a competition. Some water is provided at the end of your session for a quick rinse.
If you wish to pour water on the rocks do so only once at a time and in a small amount. Please ask other sauna users if they are ok with you doing so. Only water from the bucket provided should be used.
Be careful when entering, exiting, and moving around the sauna so as not to trip. Do not block the entrance to the sauna and do your best to be kind and respectful to other sauna users.
Do not drink alcohol before or during the sauna. Rehydrate properly afterwards, you lose a lot of water from sweating in the sauna.
It is best if you are changed and ready before your timeslot, and leave before the timeslot ends, so that everybody has the maximum amount of time paid for in the sauna.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Staff can refuse entry for any reason if they deem it unsafe for you or a member of your group to use the sauna.
If your session is cancelled, for reasons such as bad weather, you are eligible for a full refund or rebooking in another available timeslot.
Please enjoy the sauna and allow fellow users to enjoy it too!
